Sam Chavez is an LA based dancer, choreographer, teacher, filmmaker, editor and creative director. She has a BFA in Dance Theatre from AMDA LA, is a dancer with Geometry Dance Company under the direction of Mackenzie Martin, teaches regularly at The House Dance Complex LA as well pop up classes at other dance studios around the LA area and is a judge and master teacher for Groove Dance Competiton. Sam also films media for Soul De Soul Dance Convention, Genesis Studios and MashUp Contemporary Dance Company. She does various freelance work for AMDA LA and many other professional dancers and choreographers around the area as well as editing. She recently choreographed for Stomping Ground LA’s Latinx and Indigenious Voices Showcase and The House Dance Complex Emergence Show. She continues to train, teach and create in the LA area and hopes to expand to different parts of the world as well.
